Monday 14th April 2008 was a day when we joined to say a sad farewell to a great friend.So many members have posted their thoughts on the website that show a great sense of loss.Chris to many people was a true gentleman, a man who would go out of his way to make sure others had a good time.Being one of the few members that had been with the society from day 1 he would ensure new members always felt welcome.Chris as a person was what the Morton Golf Society is all about "a friendly golf society with an emphasis on the word fun", Indeed if you were lucky enough to play in his group of players it was a laugh a minute.We will all miss him deeply and perhaps hope that one day we all meet up at the great 19th in the sky to have one last laugh.
